- Full mouth reconstruction
I’ve spent over $60,000 on a full mouth reconstruction. I was breaking off teeth. My dentist told me it was because of my bite and we did the reconstruction. 60K later, now my crowns are breaking off. What do I do?

Sandy,
I can’t tell you what the actual problem is without examining you, but I do highly suggest you get a second opinion. Treating TMJ is one thing, but a full mouth reconstruction is a highly advanced procedure and requires significant post-graduate training. Two of the top post-graduate schools for TMJ are Las Vegas Institute and the L.D. Pankey Institute. Look for a second opinion by someone who has training in one of those two places.
It’s possible you’re still breaking things because your bite was not reconstructed properly. It’s also possible that you need something as simple as a night guard. There is no way to tell without an examination by someone who understand TMJ.
